Magnalonga

My best friend P and I and two of her rambler friends did the Magnalonga walk today which was an excellent experience. Starting from the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre in Craven Arms, we walked for about an hour to get our “ starter” of quiche and cider , then another hour for our main course of sausage casserole and beer, then another hour for our pudding of blondie/ ice cream and gin cocktail and then finally another hour back to the start for cheese and biscuits and beer!
The portions were all very generous and all the food locally sourced . I passed on the beer but ate and drank everything else so it a good job we walked 8 miles!
A really lovely day and the weather was mostly kind.
