Lost...and Found

Wet day...mostly from overnight rain. Chill brittle wind gnawing at old bones. Ventured out into our jungle for todays Blip. Did not notice the leg drowned on a rose petal until I put image up on PC screen - was trying to get a sharp abstract image of carpet rose petals!!
I now wonder what happened? Think it is a spider leg and I think they regrow damaged or amputated legs!!?
