….wakes up the human” to paraphrase a well known proverb!
I had arranged with Mittens, our lovely cat, to waken me up at 4 a.m. so that I could catch the early sunrise if there was a colourful one. She kept her part of the bargain by starting miaowing at 4 a.m. and continuing until 5 a.m. when I got up. I kept my part of the bargain by turning on the tap in the bathroom sink where she wanted a drink!!!
