Storm Hans

This morning it was still pouring with rain. We confererred with Livia and Roger. Cancel or go?  In the end we opted to go as the forecast was for some slight improvement.
This picture shows the "classic" campervan parking at the Galtström harbour but we decided to use one of the smaller spaces a bit back into the forest. It doesn't have a view of the sea but neither did it have the wind you can see in Livia's and Jan's hair! The same wind is driving waves past the quayside and up onto the rocks nearby. I usually swim from those rocks but it doesn't look like this will be happening this weekend. But at least the rain had stopped - hooray!
We took a wander through the nearby woods and then went for a meal at the local cafe - we all chose the same; fish and chips!  It wasn't quite like the classic British fish & chips but it was good food properly cooked and nicely served so we were happy. We returned to the campervans and spent the rest of the evening chatting and drinking wine.
Nice to be out and about with good friends!
