One of the benches next to the River Ystrad near to my Mum’s has been painted since our last visit, appropriately on a water theme.

We had a quiet morning before travelling back home. For once our journey back took an hour less than expected thanks to our train from Rhyl arriving into Chester a few minutes early, enabling us to step straight across the platform onto a Bradford train. The service is only hourly so we’d been expecting to have to sit and wait for the next one.
