MonoMonday : Sounds

I often sit for a while in the garden, hoping to see different birds apart from the usual pigeons, magpies and sparrows, but I haven’t had much luck lately.
This morning though, I heard a new bird sound, a high-pitched cheep repeated over and over. Hurrying outside, I was just in time to see an unidentified bird take flight, as I might have guessed.
This feather might or might not have been left by the newcomer, who knows. Whatever, it looked quite pretty in colour ( extra ).
