Dogs Eat Oysters

I know that the French love to take their dogs into restaurants. But this is the first time I have seen them sitting on the table sniffing the lunchtime dish.

I'm on the Il de Ré for a few days. Where you park up and use a bike. Cycle paths everywhere. Plus abundant seafood. Had a massive shellfish supper tonight. Prawns, shrimp, half a crab, whelks and, like the dachsies' lunch, oysters.
