Alfresco?

Maud: I have a very sophisticated palate.

Pud: I've heard about that. And the delicacies you devour.

Maud: I don't think much to this restaurant.

Pud: The service is very slow.

Maud: Perhaps they're run off their feet in this hot weather?

Pud: You can't get the staff.

Maud: But I do like to dine alfresco.

Pud: I've heard you like to do a lot of things alfresco.

Pause. Maud stares at Pud, slightly disdainfully.

Maud: Service!

Decided not to go swimming this morning. Two late nights and an older body. I am off swimming outdoors on Saturday though. Hope the wetsuit still fits!

Did I ever tell you I used to be one half of a funny poetry duo? She was funny, I used to laugh at how funny she was! Anyway, I dedicate this blip to her - and her classic line "he likes to pee alfresco." Can't remember the rest of the poem, but I do remember that was one of the (many) lines I used to corpse on!
