Look Before You Leap

The eye must learn to listen before it looks.


On the theme of sounds for Mono Monday, this is a deceptive shot which makes the eye think that these horses are blindfolded. They must surely be following sound to allow them to move safely. But of course that is not true. These 'masks' have mesh across the eyes so that they can see but protect them from the many flies that would otherwise irritate and harm.
