Great Silence

A close up for monday.. the dahlia great silence is in full bloom so I have picked a few to bring indoors.  Beautiful.. 

Took my sister in law to the train this morning and waved her a safe trip home. It has been lovely to spend time with her as we hardly see eachother. She is making the most of not working.. semi retired I think for now and deciding whether it is for her or not!
The rain cleared allowing the painter to start on the preparatory work to get the house painted outside.. it will be good when it is done.
