The photo doesn't do the colour justice, the drink having a slight rose tint to it, on account of using Lillet Rosé in place of Cocchi Americano (which itself is the best modern day equivalent of the original Lillet Blanc, which still exists today, but in sweeter form than the original). The gin used was a nice cirtussy Med gin from a colleague at work, in payment for some illustration work I'd done for him, and it worked beautifully.

This has been a cracking weekend (after the last two days of cycling, today was bike free, save for using my Elephant Bike to carry tools between the workshop and polytunnel).
