This is an overwiew of the turbine floor of unit EC 20
On the left: the exciter for regulation of the excitation current, then the generator (750MVA), then two low pressure turbines and in the housing both the high- and mediumpressure are situated.
The turbineshaft rotates at 3000 rev. per minute.
In the back: the steampipes coming from the boiler.
Under the low pressure turbines the condenser is placed.
