A last minute blip after a mad day.

Arnie called as he was concerned about Millie, shivering and panting, so home I went. A cold wet cloth of the back of her neck helped a bit but we were not taking any chances so off to the vet we went. That in itself was a challenge as she had previously refused to get in the car. Fortunately the vet could find nothing amiss so we took her for a short walk so she hopefully doesn’t associate the car with vet in the future.

Back to work for me, and a much later than normal finish as I had to prep for tomorrow’s virtual disability awareness session, get contracts signed for one candidate who starts her new job on 1 September, one new IT Intern placed, and three more candidates for learnerships accepted.

I have never been so glad to see the back of a Monday.
