Elton Scone is coming

Called in to a city cafe/bar today for a cuppa while The Brewer filled in time before a meeting. The light fittings and walls are decorated with feather boa arrangements, in honour, we were told, of Wellington's annual Visa on a Plate celebration, which is a city wide food extravaganza in which lots of food places put on special meals. The Elton Scone is a house special burger. We may well return to try it out.
