They say that it is ill-advised to be too close to the building – if building it is – after dark. Despite repeated questions nothing further was forthcoming either on the exact consequences of being too close, or precisely what 'too close' meant. I was rewarded for my questioning merely with a hiss of indrawn breath through horribly decayed yet, somehow, too sharp, teeth. I did not press further.
