Charmant

Montaged Richard "Charming man"'s van today now that he has left it...and boy did he live up to his name. Spotless, taking us only half an hour to clean, as opposed to the two in the morning that took us and hour and a half apiece.

Massive problem with a shower tray cracking then leaking/flooding everywhere lead to our maintenance man being ordered and arriving to fix the issue. While he was there, he also fixed our broken front door, Jen's bedroom door (currently off the hinges due to the handle no longer working, effectively locking her out of her room), made the shower drain better and fixed our other door handle...all without us asking him. What a lovely guy! Also learnt from him that our shower has had a problem with the tray (i.e. a massive crack in it fixed with duct tape) for over two years...so I'm not holding up much hope for it being fixed during our stay here either! Oh well, at least it works better now.

Rest of the day was spent in the sunshine, and enjoying the site's pool and water slides. Yes, we are both legally adults, but what is wrong with having some fun on water slides when no-one else is around? A quick trip to the beach gave me this photograph...we were just about to leave when two riders arrived to take advantage of the low tide, so I waited until they were reflected in the pools of water so I could take a few pictures before we both headed in.

Our evening was spent doing customer visits, with many glasses of wine drank at each separate visit...needless to say, we staggered wandered back home rather pompette again and not at all ready for bed. Cue a few random Skype calls, and another glass of wine before retiring very gracefully to bed.
