A long walk

We caught the bus into town this morning so we could walk back along the canal. As we walked from the bus station to wigan pier Oscar was a bit frightened with all the traffic and noise. We stopped at Robin Park for a coffee then continued along and ate our picnic. It was a fabulous walk and the new path was brilliant. We stopped in Crooke and waited for the pub to open so we could have a cold drink before climbing the hill home. We walked 6.5 miles. Oscar enjoyed running through the long grass. Chris and I were exhausted of course I had a sleep!.
