RINGED PLOVER

A quick blip stop on my way back from calling in at the supermarket and cash machine.

We decided to get the gutters at the back of the house cleared out as they look somewhat like the Hanging Gardens of Babylon at the moment, and the man who came to quote for the job pointed out that some of the lead has been removed from where the outbuilding/shed meets the outside wall of the house. Thieving ********s! We've no idea when or how it was taken - possibly while we were on holiday, via a quick foray over the single-storey building from the back alley. The lead that was fixed under pipes and on corners wasn't touched so it was probably a quick grab, the work of a minute or so, just to get the easy bits. The roofer is coming back to do the gutters in the morning and quote for replacing the lead, so that made me get on and clear stuff out of the back yard this afternoon so that we're not leaving junk behind for our buyer.
