Attack of the Nematodes

Up early this morning to take the car in for a service and to take a long, slow bus journey back. The girl sitting in front of me spoke non-stop the whole trip then put on a mask to leave the bus. I guess she hasn’t quite got a handle on airborne viruses. A bit of overdue kitchen cleaning was next on the agenda before I nipped down to the dentist for a different kind of service. Happily, neither of them discovered anything nasty and my wallet stayed intact!
I’ve had a pack of nematodes resting in the fridge for a few days and this evening seemed a good time to let them loose so I enlisted S for Operation Get Those Slugs. Half way through and the real Edinburgh Festival weather arrived out of the blue (or black) and forced us into the hut. The rain then got heavier and heavier so we just had to get wet then squelch home to dry off. Should help distribute the nematodes though. Fingers crossed!
