Sun and Shadow

At the hospital early this morning for registration and pre-op testing, then C's scheduled 7:30 procedure at their orthopedic surgical center. By early afternoon the surgery had been done, she was out of post-op and in her room where she'll stay at least until tomorrow to be discharged after med, pt and ot evaluation. So far, so good. 

While she was sleeping in the early afternoon, I managed to grab a sandwich from the cafeteria and sit in the sun in their serenity garden for a bit ... warmed these old bones.
