CREPE MYRTLE IS FINALLY BLOOMING

Yes, my CREPE MYRTLE TREES are finally blooming, near my front walkway. They are also blooming all over town, which is always a delight. My favorite are the dramatic deep red flowers. This year, our neighborhood planted a bunch along the major streets, which will be (hopefully) gorgeous in years to come.

They are reliable bloomers in June, but this
year we had unusually gloomy weather,
at the beginning of the Summer. So they are late, but still very welcome.

The Goldfinches are ready to eat the seeds, when they appear. They travel in boisterous flocks & are also a
welcome sight.
