Isn’t it great when a friend rings mid morning and says “ I’m coming for lunch, OK”. That’s what a true friendship is, right.
We had an epic catch-up while enjoying freshly made leek and potato soup (veggies from garden) toasted cheese rolls and small mince pies.
We took ourselves off for a walk late this afternoon, where I took this photo of the entrance to our local cafe/restaurant. Our house is on the far right, so very handy if needed!
