Italian reflection
It was Italian weekend at Motorworld. Having an Italian car attracted the promise of free parking.
So we arrived early and parked freely.
Being introvert, my embarrassment grew exponentially as we, with our unwashed Fiat 500X, appeared to have been shepherded into the parking area for the incoming waves of new and vintage Alfa Romeos, Lancias, Lamborghinis, Maseratis, Ferraris and Fiats. Nests of pimped and growly Abarths and original Fiat 500s collected around our dusty grey doped 500.
The shapes, the colours, the sounds, smells and bonomia provided a welcome microcosm of Italy in the middle of Minga.
