Still Life Wednesday

I found this lovely old vintage lamp yesterday and wanted to use it for a blip. It takes two D batteries which cost nearly as much as the lamp, but so much safer than lamp oil or paraffin.
Does anyone still use paraffin? Boom, boom, boom, boom! Esso Blue! I can remember the adverts for it and the smell. Something else that gives away my age!
