No butterflies

I went out looking for butterflies (live ones!) and there were none to be seen. So I made do with this rather lovely flower. No idea what it is or where it has appeared from. 

Even I got quite interested in the football today.  Not as far as watching it, just keeping up with how it was going. I am currently reading a Spanish book - hope I don’t have to read an Australian book!
