i went down to - the gardens looking for - a swallowtail butterfly i’ve - been seeing flitting around - the grounds for - a couple of days now - hoping to capture a pic - but realistically i knew my - chances were pretty slim - so i began the hunt - anyway and rounded a corner - and had deja vu

for there perched on - a wonderful yellow flower - was, i swear, the very - same dragon i’d seen - the other day - maybe it wasn’t yet - with my eyes who knows - it certainly appeared to - be the same one - i started talking to her - and she looked right - at me like we’d met before - do they remember as well? - at any rate - it was a priceless moment - i was thrilled - and it led to…
