What Are You Doing There?
Up at 6:00 to start the day. We were bushed last night after all the work we did when grandchildren left but sleeping in was not an option. I made a meat loaf, cooked bacon and baked two zucchini breads. By the time the kitchen was clean, I’d gotten my 10,000 steps. Today, we did the last load of laundry, I made fresh blueberry scones, and hubby and I took all the food, clothes, general supplies to the camper. When I watered my houseplants, I was surprised to see these mushrooms. This Amaryllis was repotted in new potting soil earlier this year. It gave me an easy blip. After showers, we were an hour ahead of schedule but with planned stops, we figured we would not arrive too early. Stopped for gas, lunch and we had to go to three stores to find chicken for tomorrow’s dinner. We arrived at our camp site at 3:45. It’s 7:00 pm and we have most everything in place. Already warned hubby that the only activity for tomorrow is rest. I am reading a good book so getting out the Kindle is my only plan. Hope you have restful plans in the near future. Stay safe. Thanks so much for stopping by. I will catch up with your journals tomorrow for sure. “I'm obsessed with broccoli, carrots, celery, string beans, snap peas, black kale, brussels sprouts, cabbage - I could go on! … I hate mushrooms, though. I apologize to fungi lovers, but this way, there's more for you!” - Lisa Edelstein
