Wonderful weather at Worthing!

Had a great day at Worthing - looks like summer’s back?

Amid the usual upsetting and heartbreaking events that always dominate the news, it was brilliant to have some good news and see the Lionesses making it to the final. They do make me smile, as they look like every female PE teacher I’ve ever known, but they are amazingly skilled and seem to not only get along together and support each other incredibly well but also seem to really enjoy playing.

I was watching the final minutes on my phone while having lunch at a cafe, anxiously waiting for the equaliser that would take the match to penalties, when England scored their third goal. I got told off for shouting out the score and ‘WE’VE WON!’ but it did make me jump!
