Hidden in full sight
Interesting day today with J,P and M, started with a walk round Kinneil Estate with its imposing house, James Watt’s cottage where he worked on developing his steam engine, the site of a Roman fort and the remains of Kinneil church. After lunch we moved on to Linlithgow Loch, with its iconic views of Linlithgow Palace, birth place of Mary Queen of Scots. All of which are very familiar to me but going round with first timers gives a different view on things.
If you look carefully at the section of St.Michael’s and the Palace, there two scaffolders and two seagulls in shot, all doing things I could never do
