Californian Poppies

Back blipping as such a busy day and late night! 
First morning uke class followed by pilates class. 
We had an early dinner before cycling into town again for Uke Jam. We knew it would be a long evening because there were six acts as well as a set list of 18 songs, including our favourite Hotel Califonia. There was also cake in the break to celebrate our teacher's imminent wedding. However, very unfortunately, the start was delayed by half an hour because one of the attendees suffered a medical emergency, and we waited for paramedics to arrive and take her to hospital. Thankfully, they came  quickly, and she was very well looked after by the NHS staff and was  back home the next day). However, the show went on, and we had a blast. We arrived back home at 10 minutes to midnight, so just before our e bikes would have turned into pumpkins.
My blip is of the Californian poppies (Eschscholzia) still happily blooming away in my front garden, which I snapped quickly in the afternoon.
