Snug in a Sleeper!

There is an old railway sleeper lying propped against our fence in the garden and I just noticed a wee Coal Tit coming in and out of the tiniest hole in the sleeper the other day.

So I took a morning teabreak, sat outside with my mint tea, camera in hand just watching and waiting and finally got this shot. Well I got a few shots but this was the sharpest. They are such fast moving little birds it is hard to capture them in focus!

Now I am just hoping I will catch sight of the babies emerging.
