Some small creature was about to meet its demise.

Once again, the roofer turned up as promised, finished the job and gave useful advice. I'm hoping that the chap who's supposed to be replacing a "blown" double glazing unit will come and do that job as promised tomorrow. I know that Jackie, who comes once a fortnight and vacuums, mops and dusts the house like a whirlwind, will definitely turn up on time and cheer up my day.
