Went to see the local sunflower field this afternoon and there were a few surprises there including a polar bear sitting in a bath and some legs sticking out of the ground!   I picked lots of flowers and will give some to a friend/neighbour tomorrow.  You give a donation to charity and can pick as many as you want.  Stopped off en-route to offload six bags of garden waste at the recycling centre!  Think its been four months since the bin men went on strike and there doesn't seem to be an end in sight, sigh!   The ponies next door are going to be collected in the morning.
