Your argument is that, if “they” can’t get tomorrow’s weather right, then why should we trust what they say about the effects of climate change in five, ten or twenty years?
 
But it’s like a drop of water in a turbulent stretch of river. It’s impossible to predict where that particular drop will be in ten seconds, but we know with pretty-well absolute certainty that, in half an hour, it will be way downstream.
 
I don’t know what your next screw-up will be, but I know that it’s coming and I can see where you will be in a few year’s time.
