September crabs...

arrived early this year! Fat and pretty they are. I have almost finished picking our winter cache. After lunch these will be added to the pile. I want to have the job done by the time we go back to the farm. One storm or anything can cause the crabs to fall off. We still need to catch and freeze more fish for the winter. I think there is still plenty of time for that. We take care of ourselves so if the shelves are bare we have nothing to worry about. If the power goes out we have a generator. I like to be prepared.
