Delphiniums

Its not very often that stems of delphiniums are seen for sale but l bought two bunches in the greengrocers last week.  The colour is beautiful but l soon discovered why they perhap are better left in the garden, every morning l was mopping up piles of fallen petals.  In the end l put hairspray on them and glued them on but a lesson was learnt.

After a spell of reasonable weather we are meant to have a stormy day but no sign of it yet.
