The Colours of Late Summer

With heavy rain forecast for this evening and overnight we took advantage of the sunshine this morning to drive up onto the common. Although only 15 minutes from home we do not often visit this area as it is close to the busy Plymouth to Tavistock Road. The objective today was to see the heather which grows in and around the site of an ancient earthwork.
