Spot the heron. I didn’t until after I’d taken a few photos of the weir.

An early blip from Grasmere (taken, not posted early) then a shop and home for more outdoor work. I found the bird feeders, filled two to hang on the new post and put some seed mix on the ground feeder. Not a bird all day. The robin that was around earlier didn’t reappear and blue tits were flying over the garden on their way to a neighbouring one.

Tried to stake up some plants that got battered in the rain a few days ago. Did some weeding and sweeping with the result that the garden and path around the house look much better.
