From the garden

The last of my birthday present flowers were done but I found a few in the garden to fill the vase.
A day of housework and odd jobs on the whole.
I went to water my cabbage seedlings and found nearly all had been eaten by a snail, I've sown some more and will have to be extra vigilant against snails, they are a real nuisance in the garden.
I had a run in the woods and fields, a bit overgrown but better than the last couple of Augusts, I think because the local horses use them more.
Will be going to pick up our visitor from the bus station, soon.
