Second blush of roses

How lovely to see the two roses bloom together for the second time this year.  I'm glad they have had all the watering from rain as well as my occasional contribution.

Today the painter arrived to complete our garage. He will be back on Monday to finish
the job.

Then I spent the afternoon with a local friend who has to sit most of the day for 6 weeks recovering from an operation on both her feet.  She has got nearly 3 weeks more to go and is pretty fed up.

A good day, though I am still tired from "adventuring".
