Rain, rain and more rain

After the gorgeous day we had yesterday today was awful.  A few spits mid-morning that morphed into rain within an hour or so then pouring rain a little later.  Journeys out to the shed for wood and topping up the birds feed stations provided the only fresh air I got today.  Interestingly - or worryingly - this time last year we were in the middle of what became an unprecedented disaster in the area as an 'atmospheric river of rain' poured itself over the region for 4 days.  Fingers crossed today's rain doesn't herald a repeat.
