New Lochan

I think the pollen and this heat is making me tired. I'm glad I wasn't humphing gear up a hill today. I had a frustrating day of shifting goal posts.

This is a wee pond in a field near our site. A local man explained that a land slide on the hill side above altered the course of a wee burn. It used to flow into another burn but after the change of ground profile the water issues down the slopes in another direction and collects in this, previously dry, hollow in the field. It looked quite pretty this morning.
