Sunset at Himmelreich

A very unpleasantly hot, close day. I visited my mother in the Taunus hills, where it was not quite as bad as down here in the valley. 

In the evening, P and I went to our favourite local restaurant for a light dinner (which isn’t easy to find at this very traditional place with its hearty food and huge helpings). We sat under the big umbrellas on the terrace and enjoyed the breeze. 

At quarter past eight, I blipped this the sunset. Beautiful, but a little sad, as it shows how quickly we are losing daylight now.
