Saturday: Tiny Surprises

It’s only 3 days since I sowed the seeds in today’s Blip, almost every cell in the tray has a few little green leaves breaking the surface of the compost - if I’d been more careful then I might have achieved a more convincing photo!

Very heavy rain all morning which was hurled at the windows by a ferocious wind, Storm Betty certainly creating a very bad impression of herself.

By lunchtime, the wind shifted from northeasterly to southwesterly and from a howling gale to stiff breeze and I ventured outdoors to explore the garden, picked a courgette from the garden and a fig from the greenhouse.
Fig count this Summer up to 5.
Courgette count now 8, still from the same plant.

Happy Saturday everyone :-)) XXXX XXX XX

Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
