The Big Apple

Apparently popularised by John J Friz in the 1920’s. He referred to New York in this way in his horse racing articles. Took a Downtown tour bus this morning to the 9/11 memorial as my friend had never seen it. As busy as ever and always very moving. A walk around planned for this afternoon to reacquaint ourselves with some of the places we enjoyed on previous visits.
