Newhailes again

We headed back to Newhailes this morning as we’d found out yesterday that there is a market the third weekend of the month. We did the loop round the fields then looked at the stalks. A nice mix of fish of stalks and crafts with momentary excitement when Phin managed to slip his collar and get behind the counters. Fortunately he was quickly caught! My only purchase wax a bottle of Dark sky gin from Dumfries and Galloway. The sample was too tempting.

Home to lunch on shop bought daal wtb leftover homemade chapatis.

After Phin had a nap we took him to Newbattle where I spotted this unusual structure.
