Carolyn

Finally gave my friend Carolyn from New Zealand a long overdue hug.  We first met 35 years ago in Australia thorough my Uncle Robin, and his friends Buzz and Brenda.  Bumped into each other at the coastal resort Surfers Paradise in Australia, socialised lots and re-established relations when we were all living in London in the 90's.

Despite the distance, we've kept in touch, and I have long airmail letters from the early years, and then more recently online texts, photos and messages.  Lots of profound and life-changing events have happened in our lives since we last saw each other (marriage and children being the start) and today has been emotional and exhilarating.

In trying to get a pic for our mutual friend Amanda (thepainterswife) we tried a few selfie pics.  

This one with the sunflower ears was our favourite.  We had no idea about how funny it looked at the time.
