Late afternoon in Portland

The kids endured a long long drive to Portland today and the disappointment that we had to skip the planned visit of the enchanted forest, to which at least three of us had been looking forward to. The road was blocked and with the detour it got too late. Maybe next time.
They behaved so fabulously …
