Dark Lochnagar again
We thought we might go to Balmoral Castle but we took one look at the crowded car park and queues of people and changed our minds. Instead we visited the nearby village of Ballater and enjoyed a delicious take-away lunch from the local baker. We decided to walk Bertie on the small but perfectly formed Craigendarroch Hill. My blip is the view from the top at 400 metres, looking towards Lochnagar (again). The walk up the steep slopes started through oak woods which gave way to Scots pine and laden blueberry bushes. I had to keep stopping to enjoy the fruit.
