Blood Test...

Ewan was getting a blood test today. I had to get him out of school early so we could get some anaesthetic cream on his arm an hour before the appointment.

He did brilliantly. I got him to look round whilst the needle was put in his arm and the nurse got all the blood first time. No crying, no flinching, no problems at all. I even invited him to take a look at the needle in his arm just before it was taken out so he could see how it was done.

That all said, he was a bit subdued and quiet through lunch and after school so it may have knocked him a little. Hopefully he'll be back on full cylinders tomorrow.
